Details

JCB, global 'yellow plant' manufacturer, had undertaken divisional reorganization leaving this plant located between Berlin & Hannover in Germany surplus to requirements.

In excellent, but mothballed, condition Riley Surface World was tasked with finding a buyer to both purchase and remove the plant.

A significant sales & marketing strategy was executed including presence trade exhibitions in Germany and reaching out to board level decision makers within the agricultural plant sector.

Following successful introductions Riley Surface World connected JCB with an existing Tier 1 supplier and managed negotiations to a close, achieving a sale that satisfied the immediate need of all parties and enabled future business opportunities between the buyer and seller.

The plant was decommissioned by the buyer's engineering team for reinstallation in a new facility erected to house this plant and the growth it would generate.
