Description
SPARK TRAPS
These in-line spark traps reduce the possibility of fire by knocking down sparks from the airstream before they can enter your dust collection unit.
The dust laden air enters the spark trap and expands reducing the velocity and allowing the heavier particles to separate.
The air is then directed downwards by a deflection plate and impinged upon a bed of water contained within the catchment tray.
This helps extinguish the sparks before the air passes through to the secondary chamber and on to your extraction source.
The collection bin is then emptied at regular periods and the water within replenished.
Various sizes are available to suit both your extraction rates and duct sizes. Please call for size and price availability.
