Description
CA340 Circular spiral bowl with variable speed drive system
The CA340 is a cast poly lined 350 ltr capacity overlapping helical vibratory bowl. The "Circlon" CA bowl is an automatic vibratory process, and with its spiral process channel design which minimises damage and scratches to the components. With the extended overlapping spiral design a longer process length can be achieved which sometimes allows continuous parts processing of same sized components.
The process speed is controlled by the divorced variable speed drive unit with a range of 800-1500rpm. The automatically operated inboard separation flap can be used to extend a lengthy process by allowing multiple passes around the bowl when required.
Benefits and features

Function / Process
Circlon vibrators type CA are automatic abrasive finishers with overlapping helical work bowls. The mixture of workpieces and abrasive media moves during the course of circulation from the bottom to the top level of the work bowl. During this advanced motion the mixture is circulated in a spiral from the outside to the inside. In addition, workpieces and abrasives media describe relative movement in relation to one another. This three-dimensional movement generates high abrasive pressure and prevents reciprocal shattering or scratching of the workpieces. After finishing the mixture id passes via a tilting flap to the screening area. Separation (closure of the flap) is initiated pneumatically. The finished workpieces are ejected, the abrasive media drops back through the screen into the work bowl.
