Description

Originally used in the nuclear industry, this small heat treatment oven manufactured in 2004 by Caltherm, was originally designed and manufactured to heat treat components to between 200°C and 400°C to a very high tolerance. Suitable for a variety of heat treating applications with capabilities of processing components to a continuous operating temperature of 400°C.

Operation

  • Component parts are loaded into chamber by way of the side opening shuttle, with a self leveling product support and attached door.  The cycle is then activated and the oven runs the cycle until the process is completed. Ideal for annealing small tubes prior to fabrication or manipulation.

Manufacturing Spec

  • External skin is brushed 304 stainless steel .
  • Internal skin is a mill finished 304 stainless steel.
  • Insulated to external surfaces 50 mm thick RW6 mineral wool plus 50mm thick RW3 mineral wool and 50mm air gap.
  • Glass fibre 'P' type seals to door frame.
  • 32 amp (3 elements) 3 phase.
