Description

Large capacity 85kW, 300°C Caltherm multi purpose oven originally manufactured to very accurately temper plastic components for the automotive industry.

Features

  • Eurotherm NanoDAC programmer and data recorder via USB  link.
  • Overtemperature policeman is a Eurotherm 3216 controller.
  • 12 type K thermocouples to log internal temperature.
  • Manufactured in accordance with AMS2750E.
  • 'Man-in-oven' emergency grab wire, cutting the cycle, activating an audio/visual alarm and activating the extractor fan.
  • Extractor fan with airflow switch for alarm.
  • Controlled cooling via motorised inlet damper.
  • Power FLC 148 Amps : Starting 148 Amps
  • Single swing open door
  • 15 shelf, double sided  trolley. (60 trays in total)
  • Large air circulation fan, driven by 11kW motor, resulting in exceptional temperature uniformity.
  • Could be  fit into a floor pit to give trolley access at ground level.
  • 9 Channel thermocouple temperature survey showing excellent temperature uniformity.
  • Commissioned January 2019.

  • External skin is mild steel sheet with PVC coating finish.
  • Internal skin Aluminised steel.
  • Insulation is Rockwool panels.
  • Adjustable mountings for site levelling.
