Description

Vacublast Blastmaster PB150 Pressure Fed Manual blast cabinet

A much sought-after Wheelabrator Blastmaster PB150 large capacity pressure blast cabinet, has been designed specifically for a large number of media blasting applications where high work output is required designed and built for the aerospace industry.

Typical applications

  • Paint stripping
  • Delicate cleaning Features
  • Heavy Corrosion
  • Tough Coatings

The unit is currently using Aluminium Oxide

Cleaning rates are up to 5 times the speed of suction cabinets and are suitable for use with a wide range of
abrasives such as Steel shot, Aluminium oxide, Glass bead, and walnut shell to name but a few.

Pressure feed machines are commonly used in high production environments or on applications such as peening, surface coatings removal, surface preparation, and cleaning.

This particular model has used for paint stripping using plastic blast media and as such has very little wear.

This used Vacublast pressure feed hand blast cabinet is essential when removing heavy corrosion, tough coatings or when high production rates are required

Former BAE Systems Machinery

This plant is one of several machines acquired during BAE System's reorganisation of their manufacturing facility at Brough, UK.
Their worldwide reputation for quality is reflected in the machinery and maintenance of their manufacturing plant.
Many of these machines include features that are necessary for the manufacture and servicing of high quality aviation and aerospace components,
but can provide a benefit to any industry.

Vacublast Shot Blast Features

  • Low noise levels
  • Robust construction
  • High ventilation rate for good visibility
  • Large viewing window
  • Underslung blast generator and dust collector
  • Pressure regulation at the operator position for easy adjustment
  • Elliptical glove ports to suit a wide range of operator sizes
  • Internal blowdown gun
  • Anti-static gauntlets
  • Aerated adjustable feed valve for uniform abrasive feed
  • Interlocked door
  • Foot pedal operation

Please note: Heavy duty blasting applications using heavy metallic shot medias, are significantly improved returning media to pressure pot through gravity feed. Blastmaster is designed to utilise that significant process advantage, media gravity returns to pressure pot.
Therefore, mount blasting cabinet either:-
A) Over suitably sized pit or B) Extend cabinet legs to accommodate blast pot
