This matched set comprises of an Ecoair compressor, a Hankison air dryer and a 1500 Litre air receiver tank.

Air Dryer (AZ193)

A refrigerated compressed air thermal dryer with a nominal handling capacity of 632CFM at up to 8 bar pressure.

A class 1 secondhand Air receiver that when installed in a compressed air circuit provides a reservoir of compressed air offering a buffer against intermittent demand and higher usage than the compressor can supply. (AZ194)

What are Air compressors used for?

Air compressors are a popular workhorse of many surface preparation and industrial processes. They also have a wide appeal to smaller businesses or domestic environments. As such Riley's aim to have in stock compressors with a range of pressure (measured in psi) and air flow (CFM) specifications to suit the applications our customers most regularly require.

The most common compressed air requirement in the surface preparation industry is for shot blasting in suction or pressure cabinets. Compressed air accelerates the shot media onto the process parts causing the blasting effect. 
Other common uses including painting vehicles in an vehicle body shop, sanding applications, pneumatic drills and other pneumatic tools or using an air blowgun to clean machinery. Wider industry uses compressed air for a multitude of applications which explains why compressors are such a utility machine.

Air compressors can be installed as a stand-alone machine paired to another machine, or two or can be installed as part of a factory-wide service supply of piped air running multiple applications. Also worth considering is the availability of stand by or back up compressors for critical applications.
