Description

The MecWash SOLO 400 is a compact intense basket spray wash, Mist rinse, Hot air dry with cooling tunnel for cell or line applications.

  • MecWash are true experts in the process of washing, to ensure the perfect finish in challenging applications. The machine is both highly efficient and robust, thriving in tough industrial environments. 
  • MecWash serves many of the leading names in engineering, in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, defence, medical, motorsport and general engineering.
  • MecWash apply very high volumes of water through open nozzles to produce a heavy spray/flood washing process that penetrates and cleans masses of small parts in baskets or complex parts in specialised fixtures. 
  • Full rotation of the workload exposes all the component surfaces, machined holes, recesses and galleries to the process solutions and provides effective draining and drying. 
  • Parts with simple geometries can also be gently oscillated from side to side. 
  • While many components can be cleaned in simple baskets, complex parts may require a tailored fixture providing dedicated jetting of specific areas such as oil, fuel and gas ways, galleries and deep blind machined holes which ensures fast, effective and consistent cleaning. 
  • The process concludes with high velocity  air drying to ensure rapid removal of water from the cleaned components

INTER-STAGE PARTS WASHING & DRYING SYSTEMS

  • Developed for the aerospace, defense, medical and other precision industries where the manufacture of complex and intricate machined or pressed parts require very high standards of cleaning, surface finish and drying. The Solo 400 removes all types of contamination such as soluble and mineral oils or greases, lapping pastes and NDT dye penetrants from sensitive alloys and other materials.
  • Developed to satisfy the needs of inter-stage, in-cell and in some cases final machined component cleaning to high standards.
  • The Solo parts cleaning system provides rotational washing, mist rinsing and  air drying in a very compact footprint, saving on valuable floor space.
  • The Solo parts washer far outperforms traditional dunk washers, rotary basket and tunnel washers for cleanliness and effective drying.
