Description

The Jetair JB220 machine is an automatic airless dry blasting cleaning machine. The four impeller blades revolve at 2800rpm, directing the blast media upwards at high velocity through the steel heavy duty barrel whereby it impinges with the components to be cleaned as they gently rotate in front of the blast stream. This action ensures that all of the exposed faces of the component are cleaned uniformly.

Operation

  • 4 impeller blades revolving at 2800 rev/min blast media at the components.
  • The components are gently rotated in the mesh basket so as to expose all faces to the blasting media.
  • The dust and debris are removed from the system throughout the blast cycle by the inbuilt dust extractor which gives an air change of 16 x per minute for dust free components.
  • Dry blasting cleaning machines from the Jetblast Airless range are free-standing, requiring no special foundations and are extremely compact for today's growing market.
  • They are ideally suited to cleaning components which can be tumble-blasted using steel shot to remove rust, scale and paint such as those in the re-manufacturing industries.

Possible Uses

A great example is automotive components, particularly in the re-manufacturing /re-conditioning of alternators, brake shoes and turbo chargers.
