Description

This second hand heavy duty Impact finishing manual wet blasting cabinet. Suitable for all blasting operations.
Superb design allows minimal footprint for a maximum working volume. This machine includes a rotary table for handling large components or fixtures.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

  • Construction- 6mm GRP composite cabinet, with abrasion resistant lining and external box section steel main support frame.
  • Internal Dimensions- depth 1400mm, width 1150mm, height 1175mm above work table.
  • Door- Swing door with replaceable combined rubber lining / drain channel and electrical safety interlock - hinges mounted on steel framework. Door opening; width 1150mm, height 1330mm.
  • Work Surface- Perforated low level heavy duty turntable Ø1100mm, UDL 500kg max.
  • Window- 1090mm x 615mm with double glazed safety glass with auto wash / wipe.
  • Glove Ports- 4 off, fitted with cushions and arm length gloves (replaceable from outside).
  • Rinsing- Internal, mains fed, trigger operated rinse gun.
  • Pump- 35mm MK5 high efficiency, high volume, vortex pump - solid urethane, glandless construction.
  • Pump Motor- 4kw 3 phase, 2 pole IP44 DOL starting with overload protection.
  • Media sight glass.
  • Blast Gun- Lightweight urethane body, recessed air jet, and boron carbide nozzle.
  • Sump Capacity- Water ~ 100 ltr, media ~ 20 ltr (30kg). Sump fitted with drain valve for emptying.

Controls

  • Single integrated on / off control, simultaneously operates pump, compressed air, window wiper and screen wash. Electro pneumatic foot switch for rugged, safe and hassle-free operation.

Electrical Equipment

  • To IEE, VDE, or EN 60204-1 standards - according to market. Fluorescent light unit. Window wiper. Door interlock. Hours-run meter. 24v control circuits. Solenoid valves for air and water supplies. Main enclosure (IP55) with hinged lid and isolator.
  • Filter unit- Hand operated moving bed paper filter - standard size unit, (including sensor, warning light, and water shut-off valve). (Paper width 450mm.)

SERVICES REQUIRED

  • Electrical Supply- 20A (at 415v) 3 phase & neutral, voltage and frequency to suit market.
  • Air Supply- 7 bar (100 psi), 1.14m³/min (40 cfm) per gun. Single gun machine 12.5mm (1/2" bsp / npt) connection.
  • Water Supply- 2-7 bar (30-100 psi), 12.5mm (1/2" bsp / npt) connection.
  • Drain- Floor level with grit trap 40 litres / min.
  • Vent- 200mm / 8" duct to external atmosphere
