Description

Bowers Electricals Ltd ONAN ECO Transformer (Part No 600-F03-1)

** Included with OC2497S - Induction melting furnace **

This Distribution Transformer is an oil cooled unit (ONAN) of 600kVA 10000/400v originally designed to provide power to an Induction Furnace.

The transformer was produced using cold rolled grain orientated (CRGO) steel.

Designed with the HV and LV flanges to BS2562 with facings suitable for the accommodation of bolt-on HV and LV cable boxes, LV transformer-mounted feeder pillars or ACB/MCCB cabinets and HV transformer-mounted switchgear to ENATS standards.

It is also fitted with two bolt-on panel design radiators which have been carefully designed so that HV switchgear can be fitted without interfering with the radiators – removing the need for extensive throats.

Fully compliant with the EU Commission Tier 2 Regulation 548/2014 on Ecodesign and BSEN60076 standards. The Tier 2 regulations limit the requirements for no-load and load-losses in transformers. It is in place to improve energy efficiency, environmental compatibility, and reduce CO2 emissions.
