W Canning Canning Model 2397 Centreless Polisher with belt grinding attachment

An automatic machine for the polishing and belt grinding of cylindrical parts. This 2397 allows you to produce virtually any finish to any cylindrical product.

Centreless Polishers are designed for use on tubes, round bar, rolls, cylinders, pins, shafts, hollow sections, guide rails, extruder screws, and billets, etc.

The Canning Model 2397 centreless is a single head 100mm wide centreless dry operation polishing and buffing machine designed with the flexibility having a fitted pneumatically tensioned abrasive belt linishing and banding attachment, can also abrade surfaces for stock removal and grained finishes.

Multiple surface finishes can be achieved on this machine from the grinding of black stock bar through to mirror finishing of ground stock making this a truly universal cylindrical process finisher.

Description & Applications

This is one of the most robust and popular centreless grinding, finishing and polishing machine for tube, bar, shafts, pins, ever made . With the space saving vertical belt attachment fitted it can be used with a number of different abrasive belts such as carbide and oxides for grinding, nylon belts for satin finishing, engineered belts for semi polishing and felt or cork belts for polishing.
