Description

This German manufactured microwave chamber furnace offers a controlled atmosphere & high temperature process with extremely short heating and cooling times. Only 51 hours of use and operation manual included.

Due to its size, size, material, and advanced microwave coupling, this furnace offers superior power distribution compared to standard microwave furnaces. Its high quality chamber is compatibility for alternative atmospheres, with its robust safety features and versatile size making it an ideal choice for both scientific research and industrial applications.

Ex Derby University Machinery

This equipment is from the university of Derby and has had very little use, only occasionally used in a classroom environment.

There is full technical support from Dr Ehsan Sabet from the university.

On line support from the OEM is available for a cost of 250Euro's per day and their service and commissioning engineers are available for installation and ongoing support if required.

Safety

  • Critical zones are equipped with thermal safety switches for protection of microwave generators. 
  • Two safety switches are connected to the door to ensure the power is cut of if the door is opened. 
  • A microwave sealing installed in the door is fitted to offer optimal safety against any emerging microwave radiation.

Insulation

The inner housing is lined with special ceramic insulation boards, this is a lightweight, low heat storage material that permits extremely short heating and cooling cycles. A short heat up time to 1700°C is achievable and can be maintained for continuous operation at this temperature.
