Description

This pre owned Microsolve Co-Solvent system provides two ultrasonic cleaning stages, followed by vapour rinsing and freeboard dry.

In the first cleaning stage removes gross contamination from the components, the solvent retention featuring unique to the Microsolve range–triple coil reflux cooling, vapour break, 150% freeboard, ensure that systems are safe and comply fully with environmental and safety legislation. These design features also mean that Microsolve systems are able to operate with low, predictable solvent usage and customers enjoy low, predictable running costs.

The Co-solvent process handles with ease applications such as removal of polishing compounds, maintenance cleaning of power generation system components, and flux removal from PCBs, including no-clean and lead-free solder flux residues. Typical applications include bearings, gyro components and precision medical components; maintenance cleaning of pneumatic and hydraulic components; and, in electronics, flux removal from PCBs or from soldering jigs and fixtures.

Automation of the cleaning process reduces running costs on multi stage systems by assuring consistent, repeatable quality, reducing reject rates, and increasing throughput. With Microsolve systems further cost reductions result from controlling speed of basket entry and withdrawal from the vapour zone, thus reducing solvent drag-out and losses to atmosphere caused by disturbance of the vapour blanket

Programming features of the Autotrans Mini

  • Touch sensitive programming keyboard with LCD 16-line programming function and prompt display.
  • Program storage and security provided by ‘smartcard’.
  • Password protection to prevent unauthorised program access.
  • Up to 64 programmable I/O functions and 32 flags as standard. Flags can be used for further position recognition and process timing.
  • Full edit facilities including position, dwell time and function controls.
  • Infinitely variable programmable motor speed control.
  • Positional accuracy to +/¬-1mm provided by servo motors with built-in positional encoder.
  • Over-travel protection and automatic datumming upon machine initialisation.
  • RS 232 interface available to allow off-line programming.
  • Intelligent basket processing allows simultaneous management of varying load types and application of appropriate processing parameters (immersion times, sonics program etc).

Key Benefits:

  • Ease of use
  • Faster processing
  • Higher throughput
  • Increased flexibility of load content
  • Reduced running costs
  • Consistent operation
  • Retrofit to existing systems

The Co-solvent process

Guyson Co-Solvent systems provide two ultrasonic cleaning stages, both with filtration, followed by vapour rinsing and freeboard dry.

In the first cleaning tank a mixture of HFE (hydrofluoroether) and a hydrocarbon solvating agent removes gross contamination from the components. Large quantities of dirt and oils can be taken up by the solvating agent, and this makes the process particularly suitable for heavy duty cleaning. In Stage 2 pure HFE distillate removes from the components residues carried over from the primary cleaning tank.

Both cleaning tanks include base mounted ultrasonic transducers with generator, solution heating and a pumping and filtration system.
Cleaning is followed by a rinse in the vapour zone above the tanks and then a dwell in the freeboard zone to dry the components.
