Description

Surtech long belt grinder, model L84, is designed for abrasive belt processes such as grinding, deburring, graining, finishing and polishing of sheet and plate, hollow sections, flat bar, and profiles etc.

The horizontally arranged abrasive belt runs over the length of the table. The table moves up and down to adjust the height / thickness of the workpiece. The table can also be moved back and forth.

A contact unit is manually moved over the abrasive belt, contact pressure is applied manually via a lever connected the the contact unit. The contact unit can be fitted with a variety of different pads or contact wheels to suit the application.

By moving the contact unit and the table all parts of the workpiece up to the size of the table can be reached.

An added feature to this machine is the powered table elevation which raises and lowers the work table.
