Description

The Tristar machine was developed to provide a continuous throughput of components that require a drying operation with increased throughput from a continuous feed.

Operation

  • The Tristar model has an Archimedes screw drying screen with overhead air knife blow off working on a recirculating hot air principle.
  • The rotating drum with Archimedes continuous screw fitted on the internal wall means that as the drum continues turning and moves the parts gently under the hot airstream to effectively remove any water or moisture as the parts pass below.
  • The expelled hot air is then drawn from the inner box chamber, pressurised by the fan then passed over the heater bank again to maintain a constant temperature air stream for low heat input. 
  • The process length can be modified by controlling the speed of the drum rotation, so whatever the substrate, quantity, or shape of the parts, they will exit the machine in a totally dry state.
