Description

Balco Engineering Polypropylene Fume Scrubber

This has been regularly serviced by Balco Engineering since install. Includes everything from scrubber inlet, to fan outlet along with control panel, fan and all ancillaries.   

This used polypropylene scrubber was installed in 2008 extracting a Kerry cleaning line for prosthetics.

Designed with a maximum performance of 2100cfm - 2500cfm (3565m3/hr - 4225m3/hr).

Polypropylene Scrubber comprises of:

  • 1 x sump tank with pump inlet, pH probe pocket, water inlet, dosing inlet, overflow and drain to secondary sump tank with lid
  • Main scrubber upper body has access panels, central filter media access, 2 x spray manifolds either side of packing media, outlet to 1 x double bank mist eliminator with return drain to scrubber sump
  • 1 x polyprop fan unit with flanged out and flexible connection inlet, 1 x fan support stand with anti-vibration mounts
  • 1 x stainless steel re circulating pump with hard faced seal
  • 1 x dosing pump with adjustment from 0-100
  • 1 x control panel for electrical items
  • This system was set to run at approx. 7.5 – 8pH, and has done so since its installation. 

It is clean & in very good condition, fully functional & still operational until April 2025.

This unit has been serviced 3 x per year, is always very clean and had a new dosing pump in last 12 months.

If this were new it would be approx. 40k for the scrubber, fan, extra tank and control panel.
