Description

ZM 03 centrifuge. Vibratory finishing effluent (dirty process water) contains abrasive and metal fines, frequently also oil and metals. For this reason, the effluent must be cleaned before going to drain or being recycled back to the finishing process.

ZA 04 Centrifugal Filters

Abrasive and metal fines as well as trapped oil are separated from the process water by way of centrifugal force and can be removed as semi-dry mud. The cleaned process water can be reused and pumped back to the finishing machine.

The recycling of the process water from the finishing process reduces the consumption of water (up to 98 %), and also reduces the usage of compounds (up to 90 %). In addition, it reduces the cost of waste disposal.

The centrifuge can clean up to 1000 litres of mass finishing process water per hour. The mud deposited on the wall of the drum and builds up over time, at suitable intervals this can be manually removed (Scraped off the drum wall) for disposal.

Due to the construction of the design, an optimum machine configuration is possible, which can be adapted to various customer-specific requirements. These are among others the selection of various sizes of waste water and process water tanks, cooling systems, additional process water pumps, dosing systems etc.

Cleaning by Centrifugal Force

With the centrifugal filter technology solid fines are removed from the process water with a centrifugal force which is up to 1,920 times higher than the gravity of the earth. Oil and/or extremely fine solids < 1 µm can be removed by adding flocculents. The compound utilised for the finishing operation remains largely in the process water for re-use in the finishing process.

Technical

  • Capacity - 1,000l/h
  • Mud volume - 28L
  • Centrifugal rating -1920g
  • Waste water tank (l) - TBC
  • Process water tank (l) -  TBC
  • Direct drive
